Women are rewriting the story of India, and of the 21st century. Over the next two decades, the gains of India’s 650 million women will power global progress not only toward meeting Sustainable Development Goal № 5: “Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls,” but toward meeting all the global goals for 2030 in education, health, livelihoods and environmental sustainability.
