On November 15, 2019, philanthropists will convene in Seattle for a breakfast celebration of global philanthropy, called Women of the World. This invite-only event, hosted by Global Washington and Seattle Foundation, features inspiring speakers from around the globe and our local community. It also provides an opportunity for philanthropists to connect and support one another. Read more about the 2018 Women of the World breakfast.
If you are a philanthropist, you may request an invitation by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
Following the Women of the World breakfast, attendees are encouraged to stay for the Global Washington Goalmakers Conference, a day-long event with expert speakers on global development and humanitarian response. These professionals offer deep insights into how the UN Sustainable Development Goals can be achieved (hence, “Goalmakers”), as well as where the goals may fall short without the help of new partnerships and new thinking. We hope that you will consider joining us for this event, which is open to the public. It offers an extraordinary opportunity to meet professionals in the field and learn about the latest challenges and breakthroughs in fields as diverse as global health, gender equity, water and sanitation, human rights, education, emergency relief, and food security. A separate registration is required for the Goalmakers Conference here.
Giving Compass will be covering both events in November – stay tuned for upcoming articles.
